Deveron Meets with the Minister of Transport of Canada

It was an honour for Deveron to be invited to Ottawa recently to meet with the Honourable Minister Marc Garneau.  Together with a small group of UAV (or drones) companies that are changing the way Canadian businesses approach aerial data collection, the group provided insight into how drone companies are operating within the current regulatory space.

Deveron shared experiences with the Ministry on its experiences in the space and how regulation moving forward can continue to focus on responsible operations while not inhibiting the development of a new and high growth sector to the Canadian economy.  Through hundreds of hours of incident free operations, Deveron offers an example of responsible commercial operations.  The Company is looking forward to continuing its dialogue with Transport Canada and impacting policy for the industry as a whole.

Also at the meeting were leading Canadian companies in the drone space, Aeryon Labs, Industrial Skyworks, and Resource Innovations.
